ASTM A240 Super Duplex 2507 Plate is a stainless steel plate with high content of chromium, nickel and molybdenum. It has strong resistance to localized corrosion, crevice corrosion and general corrosion. A240 GR 2507 can also resist general corrosion in acidic media. Super Duplex Plate also has high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion coefficient. However, SA 240 GR 2507 Plate is not recommended for applications with long-term exposure to temperature ranges above 570 degree F, and there may be a risk of reduced toughness.
